The Rooms

The Bill House Morris Room Interior

Over the past two years we have been painstakingly bringing The Bill House back to life. At the core of our vision is that every bedroom, communal space and garden is designed to make the most of the beautiful old structure of the building, while providing state-of-the-art residential care home facilities for our residents. Drawing on the property’s Arts & Crafts heritage, we have given our three categories of rooms comfortable en-suite bathrooms, stylish decorative touches and full connectivity for wiring and wifi to make connecting with friends and family easy. All rooms are available furnished or unfurnished, to help residents feel they have found a true home from home. “There is room for autonomy and opportunity for possessions. We hope these features inspire confidence and a sense of dignity.” says our designer Vanessa Fernandes.

The Morris

The revamped Bill House could never be complete without a nod to William Morris, the designer and poet whose name is synonymous with the whole Arts & Crafts movement. The Morris is our top-tier residential care home room offering. They are more spacious and come with en-suite facilities, many of them with their own showers, as well as a TV and all have spectacular views of the English Channel.

The Baillie Scott

Mackay Hugh Baillie Scott believed that great design ought to be open to everyone. It’s a belief we have used to inform our revamp of The Bill House and is especially evident in our mid-tier rooms. These are larger-than-standard residential care home rooms, many of them with sea views and en-suite facilities. A well-appointed, roomy home from home.

    The Pugin

Our “standard rooms” are anything but, and we have put just as much care and design into all our resident spaces. Elegant, comfortable and stylish, these rooms are a fitting tribute to Augustus Pugin, the architect and critic after whom they are named. They come with en-suite toilets as well as views of our stylish courtyard and gardens. As with every bedroom at The Bill House, you are assured of space, comfort and elegant surroundings.
